What is a Favicon & App Icon Pack Generator?
A favicon is the small icon shown in browser tabs, bookmarks, Google results on mobile and phone home screens. Different places need different sizes, so this generator creates the full set: a multi-size favicon.ico, 16/32/48 px PNGs, a 180 px apple-touch-icon, 192 and 512 px Android icons and a web manifest. Everything is drawn on a canvas in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Do I still need favicon.ico?
Yes. Some browsers and tools request /favicon.ico directly. Modern browsers also use the PNG and apple-touch-icon files.
Q:Why does Google not show my favicon?
Google needs a favicon that is a multiple of 48 px, linked from your homepage and crawlable. The 48 px icon and tags here meet those rules; Google can take a few weeks to update.
Q:What image works best?
A simple square logo of at least 512 × 512 px. Fine detail disappears at 16 px, so a bold letter or symbol often works better.
