What is a Voice Speech-to-Text Dictation Transcriber?
Speech to text turns what you say into written text as you speak. This tool uses the speech recognition built into Chrome, Edge and Safari: choose a language, press Start, and your words appear live in the box. Dictation keeps running through pauses until you press Stop, and you can edit the transcript afterwards, then copy it or save it as a text file. Toolbrix does not receive or store your audio or text.

How to use this Voice Speech-to-Text Dictation Transcriber
Open the page in Chrome, Edge or Safari and choose the language you will speak.
Press Start dictation and allow microphone access when the browser asks.
Speak clearly at a normal pace; grey text is still being recognised and turns final after a short pause.
Press Stop, fix any mistakes in the box, then Copy or Save .txt.

Q:Which browsers work?
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari support speech recognition. Firefox does not yet, so the tool shows a notice there.
Q:Is my voice recorded?
Toolbrix never receives your audio or transcript. Chrome and Edge send the audio to their own speech service to recognise it, under Google’s or Microsoft’s privacy terms; Safari can recognise speech on the device.
Q:Can I dictate in Arabic or French?
Yes. Pick the language before you start. Accuracy depends on the browser’s speech engine for that language.
Q:How do I improve accuracy?
Use a headset or a quiet room, keep the microphone close, and speak in full sentences rather than single words.
